Privacy Policy
The plain-English rundown of what IPTV Trends collects, why we keep it, and the rights you can use any time.
This page tells you, without the legalese fog, how IPTV Trends ("we", "us", "our") handles personal information when you visit iptvetrends.online, sign up for the free trial, or run an active subscription. Read it once and you'll know what we hold, what we never hold, and how to ask us to change either.
1. Who's Behind This Site
IPTV Trends runs a paid IPTV streaming service. If anything below raises a question — or you'd rather speak to a human about your data — open our contact page or send us a quick note on WhatsApp.
2. What We Actually Collect
Things you hand to us directly
- Email address — we need one to set up your account, send the M3U or login details, and reach you about service issues.
- Payment details — handled inside our processors (Stripe, PayPal, or a crypto gateway). The card number itself never lands on our servers.
- First name (optional) — only used so support replies sound less robotic.
- Anything you write to support — emails, WhatsApp threads, contact-form submissions. We keep them so we can pick up where the last chat left off.
Things picked up automatically
- IP address — checked at the moment of payment for fraud signals and to localise pricing. We don't keep a long-term log of it.
- Browser and device fingerprint basics — collected through cookies so the site loads correctly on your stack.
- Page views and time on page — handled by analytics cookies. See the Cookies Policy for the full breakdown.
3. Why We Keep Any Of It
- To open and run your IPTV Trends subscription.
- To deliver login credentials, server URLs, and any service-level notices.
- To process transactions through our payment partners.
- To answer your support tickets and remember your last conversation.
- To spot fraud, abuse, and obvious bot behaviour before it costs subscribers money.
- To meet whatever a court, tax authority, or regulator legitimately requires.
What we don't do: we don't sell, rent, or lease your personal data. We don't run automated profiling that produces legal or financial effects on you.
4. Lawful Grounds for Using Your Data (GDPR / UK-DPA)
If you live in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or anywhere else where GDPR-style rules apply, here are the legal bases we lean on:
- Performance of a contract — to actually give you the service you bought.
- Legitimate interests — fraud screening, infrastructure security, and product improvement.
- Consent — required for analytics and marketing cookies. You can pull that consent at any moment.
- Legal obligation — when statute or a binding order forces our hand.
5. Your GDPR / UK-DPA Rights
If GDPR or the UK Data Protection Act covers you, you can:
- Access the personal data we hold on you and get a copy.
- Correct anything inaccurate or out of date.
- Erase your data (the so-called "right to be forgotten").
- Restrict how we process specific items.
- Port your data out in a structured, machine-readable file.
- Object to processing we run on legitimate-interests grounds.
- Withdraw consent for cookie-based processing at any point.
Drop a request via the contact page. We'll come back inside thirty days, usually a lot sooner. UK and EU residents can also lodge a complaint with their national supervisory authority if anything we do feels wrong.
6. Your Rights If You're In California (CCPA / CPRA)
California residents have an additional toolkit:
- To know precisely which categories of personal information we collect, and the why behind it.
- To request that we delete the data we hold on you.
- To opt out of any "sale" or "sharing" of personal information — though, again, we don't sell it.
- To not be treated differently for exercising any of the rights above.
Send the request through our contact page with the words "CCPA request" so it's routed quickly.
7. Your Rights If You're In Brazil (LGPD)
Brazil's Lei Geral de Proteção de Dados gives you access, correction, erasure, anonymisation, portability, and the ability to ask who we've shared your data with. Use the contact page with "LGPD request" in the subject and we'll handle it under the same response window as GDPR.
8. Who We Share Data With
The list is short on purpose:
- Payment processors (Stripe, PayPal, occasional crypto gateways) — to take payment and issue refunds.
- Analytics providers (Google Analytics) — only after you accept analytics cookies, and only in aggregated form.
- Hosting and email infrastructure — providers we contract under data-processing agreements.
- Authorities — exclusively where a valid court order or statute makes it mandatory.
9. How Long We Hang Onto Things
Your email and account record stay with us while your subscription is live, plus a 90-day buffer to handle disputes and refund windows. Earlier deletion is a one-message ask. Payment receipts live as long as accounting law tells us to keep them — usually around seven years depending on jurisdiction.
10. Cookies
Cookies have their own dedicated page so this one stays readable. The full list, the categories, and the controls all live on the Cookies Policy.
11. How We Keep It Safe
Everything in transit moves over HTTPS. Subscriber records sit behind role-based access — only the team members who need them get in. We test our setup on a regular cadence and patch anything we find. No system is bulletproof, but we run ours like the data belongs to us.
12. Children
IPTV Trends is for adults. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 16 (or under 13 in the United States). If you believe a minor has handed us personal data, message us and we'll wipe the record.
13. Updates To This Policy
When something material changes — a new processor, a new legal basis, a new region — we update the "Last updated" date and email active subscribers if the change matters to them. Smaller wording cleanups land without an announcement.
14. Get In Touch
