Cookies Policy
The cookies we set on iptvetrends.online, why they're there, and how to switch off the ones you don't want.
This page lays out what cookies are, which ones IPTV Trends drops on iptvetrends.online, and the controls you have over them. For the bigger picture on how we deal with personal data, head to our Privacy Policy.
1. What Are Cookies?
A cookie is a tiny text file your browser tucks away on your device — laptop, phone, tablet, whatever you're using — when you land on a site. It lets the site remember little things about your visit, like the language you picked or whether you've already dismissed a banner, so it doesn't have to ask all over again next time.
Some cookies are "session" cookies that vanish the moment you close your browser tab. Others are "persistent" — they hang around for a fixed window, or until you clear them out yourself.
2. How We Use Cookies
On iptvetrends.online, cookies do four jobs:
- Keep the site running properly (essential cookies).
- Remember the choice you made on the consent banner.
- Help us see which pages people read so we can fix what isn't landing (analytics cookies).
- Show you relevant offers based on what you browsed — only if you've said yes to that (marketing cookies).
3. Types of Cookies We Use
Essential Cookies
These have to be there for the site to work — without them the pricing toggle, the trial form, and the mobile menu would all break. There's no opt-out for essential cookies because the site itself depends on them.
| Cookie Name | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
cookie_consent |
Saves which option you picked on the consent banner | 1 year (localStorage) |
Analytics Cookies
We run Google Analytics so we can see which pages people actually find useful and where they drop off. The numbers come back grouped and anonymous — we can't pull a single visitor out of the data.
| Cookie Name | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
_ga |
Google Analytics — tells one visitor apart from another | 2 years |
_ga_* |
Google Analytics — keeps track of session state | 2 years |
Analytics cookies only kick in once you've hit accept on the consent banner. Decline and they never load.
Third-Party Cookies
If you click through to a payment processor like PayPal or Stripe, those companies may set cookies on their own pages once you arrive. We don't control those cookies and we don't see them. Their privacy policies cover what they do, so it's worth a look if you want the details.
4. Your Cookie Choices
The first time you land on iptvetrends.online, a banner gives you the option to accept or turn down anything that isn't essential. You can flip that decision any time using the controls below.
Reset your consent
Tap the button below to wipe your saved choice. The consent banner will pop up again on your next page load so you can pick fresh.
Browser settings
You can also handle cookies straight from your browser:
- Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data
- Firefox: Options → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
- Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data
- Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions → Cookies and site data
Heads up: blocking everything tends to break parts of the site, ours included.
Opt out of Google Analytics
If you'd rather Analytics never see you again across the whole web, install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
5. Changes to This Policy
If our cookie use shifts — or if the rules around cookies change — we'll update this page and bump the "Last updated" date at the top. Drop in now and again to make sure nothing's caught you out.
